Easter over

Well it's been a pretty good Easter here at Casa TulStig. Thursday we had a  barbecue and  Friday lunch at Julie's (all previously reported in this blog) and then on Saturday we went to an Easter Egg Hunt at Noelle's place up in the mountains near Begues.
Our journey up there was interesting. Yes we got a little bit lost, and although that was slightly stressful we did come across a beautiful town that one day we may revisit properly. We had a lovely afternoon - the location is spectacular, with views all around -up to the mountains, out to sea, and as far as Barcelona.

The kids got to search for Easter eggs whilst we filled up on a variety of goodies , all brought by the guests, and of course from Noelle and Christophe.
Before we left Noelle brought our a delicious chocolate cake.

Over the last couple of evenings we've been watching an adaptation of Kate Mosse's book -Labyrinth. BY the time we'd spent about four hours watching I was left wondering why I watch adaptations of books -they are never as good. This one was badly cast, badly scripted, badly acted ... well you get the picture. Yet the book had me gripped from cover to cover.

Today we've been taking it easy, preparing for a wonderful April... Lunch was a nutritious and tasty leek and potato soup, and whilst Tony siesta'd I watched 'The Rise of the Dark Knight, - The most recent Batman film -another disappointment, but hey ho it meant I sat still for a while and relaxed.

So what's doing now? I guess we'll have an evening in front of the TV and maybe I'll just throw together a story or two over on Writey Ho...
